[Problems] To provide a battery terminal protecting sheet which is so constituted as can be replaced without cutting an electric line leading to a power supply target such as a vehicle, and a protecting sheet mounting tool. [Means for Solving the Problems] A flexible, annular battery terminal protecting sheet (50) is impregnated with protective oil and is disposed below a battery terminal fixture (3). The battery terminal protecting sheet (50) has a radial cut (52) in its annular one portion so that it can be radially fitted on an electrode post (2). A mounting tool (60) includes a U-shaped arm (61) having such a groove (63) in its inner side face as can accommodate and hold the outer circumferential portion of the protecting sheet (50) on the two sides in the diametrical direction, and a grip portion (62) extended obliquely upward from the U-shaped bottom portion of the U-shaped arm (61). This U-shaped arm (61) is made so thick as can be placed below the battery terminal fixture (3) at an upper position, and the U-shaped arm and/or the grip portion is made of a protective material.
