The invention relates to heat-exchanging devices, more specifically, to falling film heat exchangers in which mass-exchange processes, for example, distillation, rectification, evaporation, absorption and condensation are simultaneously carried out. Said invention can be used in the power, chemical and other industries, for example for producing carbamide. The inventive vertical film-type heat exchanger comprises a body provided with media input and output pipes, heat exchange tubes fixed to top and lower tube sheets, a fluid collecting chamber located above the top tube sheet and distribution sleeves fixed to the end of each pipe. Said collecting chamber comprises an annular duct which is connected to the fluid input pipe and is provided with slits embodied in the lower part of the internal cylindrical surface of the duct and a support grid provided with holes for the passage of the distribution sleeves. Said distribution sleeves are provided with fluid input openings and gas exhaust holes embodied along the axes thereof. The top parts of the distribution sleeves are tapered in such a way that the total surface area of the top cross sections of the distribution sleeves is equal to 10-45 % of the tube sheet surface area.
