<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the receipt of spread spectrum responses of significantly different received signal strengths. <P>SOLUTION: A secondary station constituted of a receiving means for receiving messages from a primary station and a transmitting means for transmitting signals as spread spectrum signals in response to reception of invitations from the primary station is provided.
