APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING OR RECEIVING DATA THROUGH A PLURALITY OF WIRELESS LINKS GROUPED IN SINGLE RADIO NETWORK INTERFACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for transmitting or receiving data through a plurality of wireless network links in a single radio network interface.

SOLUTION: In a network device which has a single virtual MAC address that represents MAC addresses for identifying a plurality of wireless LAN devices, it includes a transmitted frame processing unit which allocates frames to be transmitted to a specified wireless link among the wireless links and transmits the frames and a channel allocation unit which selects a wireless link to which the frames are allocated by a wireless link allocation request received from the transmitted frame processing unit and transfers the information on the allocated wireless link to the transmitted frame processing unit, the data is transmitted or received through the plurality of wireless links wherein wireless data communications with neighboring wireless network devices are performed through the virtual MAC address.
