PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means capable of measuring a specimen automatically, in measurement of HDL-cholesterol in blood. SOLUTION: This means includes, in order from an axis toward an outer circumferential direction thereof, a first chamber having an injection port for the specimen; a second chamber for holding a reagent for flocculating a cholesterol component other than the HDL-cholesterol; a third chamber for pipetting a predetermined volume of the specimen; and a fourth chamber for holding a reagent group reacting with the HDL-cholesterol to be discolored, and for detecting the discoloration, and the respective chambers are connected with the first to the third flow passages having capillary force. The first to the third flow passages are bent respectively into a reversed "U-shape", and the top parts thereof are positioned in an axial center side of an upper end in the specimen coming into the chamber in an upstream.
