PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric field strength meter of simple constitution capable of measuring easily an electric field strength without requiring a direct current amplifier and an electric power source supplied thereto. SOLUTION: The strength meter comprises an antenna 1 for receiving an electromagnetic wave emitted from electronic equipment, a rectifying circuit 3 comprising diodes 3a, 3b and a capacitor 3c for rectifying an output signal from the antenna 1, and an ammeter 4 for measuring an output current from the rectifying circuit 3.
