PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap capable of suppressing breakage of a bridge in a hemming process. SOLUTION: The cap 10 comprises a top plate part 11 and a peripheral wall part 12 which is substantially suspended from a peripheral edge of the top plate part 11. An easily breakable part 17 having a plurality of peripherally extending slit parts 17a in the peripheral direction via a bridge 17b is provided on the peripheral wall part 12. A first bead part 16a is continuously provided on an upper end of the easily breakable part 17, and a second bead part 16b is continuously provided on a lower end of the easily breakable part 17. The first and second bead parts 16a and 16b have bead swollen parts 16c and 16d which are swollen outwardly in the radial direction and extending in the peripheral direction. At least one of the first and second bead swollen parts 16c and 16d is formed intermittently so as to avoid the position corresponding to the bridge 17b. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
