<p>A composition for nucleic acid delivery to target cells or tissue, comprising a polycation chargeable polymer as a carrier of nucleic acid. The polycation chargeable polymer is a polymer that can contain a chargeable polymer segment having a main chain based on a poly(amino acid), polysaccharide, polyester, polyether, polyurethane or vinyl polymer and containing as a side chain a group of the formula -NH-(CH<SUB>2</SUB>)<SUB>a</SUB>-(NH(CH<SUB>2</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB>)<SUB>e</SUB>-NH<SUB>2</SUB> [wherein each of a and e independently is an integer of 1 to 5] linked directly or via a binding group to the main chain. This composition is low in toxicity and has a high efficacy of nucleic acid introduction in cells.</p> |
