1,3,5-Triarylated 1,2,4-triazole derivatives (VIII) are new. 1,3,5-Tiarylated 1,2,4-triazole derivatives of formula (VIII) are new. R3fluorinated phenyl compound of formula (IX); n, m : 1-5; R4phenyl, 1- or 2-napthyl, 4-biphenyl or substituted phenyl residue of formula (X); R : 1-5C alkyl (at any position); and R5R3 or R4. Provided that the aryl is substituted with at least one F atom in o-, m- or p-position. Independent claims are included for: (1) an organic electroluminescent device comprising (VIII) in one or more purely or doped layers; and (2) a device comprising (VIII), which is added to at least one of charge carrier transport layer, charge carrier control layer and/or an electrical luminescence layer or at least a layer containing at least one of the compounds.
