An imaging device (1) includes: an imaging element (2) having a plurality of pixels (Gll to Gmn) for switching between a linear conversion mode for linearly converting the incident light into an electric signal and a logarithm conversion mode for performing logarithm conversion according to the incident light intensity; and a signal processing unit (3) for performing a signal processing on the electric signal. The signal processing unit (3) has: a fluctuation correction unit (30) for performing fluctuation correction of the electric signal outputted from the imaging element (2) when the I/O characteristic of the imaging element (2) fluctuates due to the exposure time of the imaging element (2); and a linearization unit (31) for performing characteristic conversion for converting the electric signal obtained by the logarithm conversion mode into a state obtained by the linear conversion mode.
