<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system which enables an imaging apparatus and a printer having only a poor user interface to be easily added to a radio network. <P>SOLUTION: A DSC for easily setting wireless LAN parameters to equipment with a poor UI such as a DSC with a direct printing function and a printer has a MAC address storage device and a function of calculating radio parameters by designated algorithm on the basis of a MAC address. Software packed together with the DSC has a function of calculating the radio parameters by inputting the MAC address from a PC and reporting the radio parameters to the printer connected by wire or wirelessly.
