<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the trouble wherein electric wave output level of remote control is decreased, if conductive member exists inside the surface of a wall on which a remote control unit is attached, and at times, the control signals does not reach the electronic equipment of a controlled object. <P>SOLUTION: The remote control unit can be attached freely on the surface of the wall, and can control the electronic equipment by using electric wave signals. The unit has a substrate positioned substantially in parallel with the surface of the wall when installation is performed to the surface of the wall, with a radio circuit for outputting electric wave signals established thereon, and a loop antenna where a perpendicular portion substantially perpendicular to the substrate is arranged.
