STEREOSCOPIC IMAGE DISPLAY PANEL, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING STEREOSCOPIC IMAGE DISPLAY PANEL, AND STEREOSCOPIC IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image display panel capable of representing an image in accordance with characteristics of a stereoscopic display image, to provide a method for manufacturing a stereoscopic image display panel, and a stereoscopic image display device.

SOLUTION: The stereoscopic image display unit is equipped with an image (IP (integral photography) image) for stereoscopic display where image information comprising a plurality of parallax image groups with different viewing points are recorded and with a minute region array (pinhole array) having a plurality of light-transmitting minute regions (pinholes) corresponding to the image information; and the display unit can display a stereoscopic image of the above image for stereoscopic display by parallax of eyes induced by the minute region array. In the method for manufacturing the above stereoscopic display unit, optical characteristics of a minute region corresponding to a predetermined image region on the image for stereoscopic display are made different from optical characteristics of other minute regions.
