PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form image formation of many gradations by forming gradation dots of many gradation numbers by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The liquid droplet delivering controlling apparatus comprises a liquid droplet delivering head 35 which has a plurality of nozzles that separately communicate with a plurality of pressure chambers filled with a liquid inside and deliver the liquid as liquid droplets to a recording medium, an actuator 122 that makes the liquid droplets delivered from the nozzles to the recording medium by changing pressures of the pressure chambers by inputting of a drive signal, and a driving control part which carries out driving control by supplying the drive signal to the actuator 122. The driving control part comprises a drive signal generating part which generates the drive signal wherein a plurality of driving waveforms for controlling a delivering amount of the liquid droplets are arranged in time series, a drive signal generation controlling part which controls the drive signal generating part to generate a plurality of the drive signals in one pixel segment, and a waveform selecting part 210 which selects and outputs to the actuator the driving waveform from a plurality of the drive signals generated by the drive signal generation controlling part.
