PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an optical information recording medium, having high reduction effect of cross erase at a low cost, and to reduce the fluctuations in the recording and reproducing signals of the optical information recording medium. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the optical information recording medium, injection molding is conducted by a metallic mold, having land sections and groove sections made of smooth surfaces and the land and the groove sections made of the smooth surfaces are transferred to make a molded substrate. Then, a metallic mold, having a fine projecting and recess part structure, is imprinted onto the molded substrate, to which the land and groove sections having smooth surfaces are transferred, and the fine projecting and recess part structure is transferred onto the land sections made of smooth surfaces, to make a molded substrate. Then, a recording material is spin coated on the molded substrate, where the fine projecting and recess structure is transferred to the land sections made of the smooth surfaces, and a recording layer is formed only on the groove sections having the smooth surfaces.
