摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a grain oriented silicon steel sheet using no inhibitors from deteriorating in magnetic characteristics in a secondary recrystallization annealing. SOLUTION: In the production method, when a recrystallization-annealed shee, the starting material of which is a slab containing, by mass,≤0.08% C, 2.0 to 8.0% Si and 0.005 to 1.0% Mn, and containing no inhibitor components, is subjected to secondary recrystallization annealing so as to be heated-up to the temperature range of 825 to 1,000°C and be held thereto, the secondary recrystallization annealing is performed in an Ar atmosphere in the period of time of≥70% in the period from the time when the annealing temperature reaches 800°C to the point of time after 20 hr from the time at which the annealing temperature has reached the secondary recrystallization temperature of the steel sheet.
