PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier tape sealing method capable of increasing the strength of a carrier tape in the longitudinal direction to suppress the slack or folding of the carrier tape to, and preventing an electronic component in an emboss pocket from falling down sidelong and turning over. SOLUTION: The carrier tape consists of a flexible resin material, and a plurality of emboss pockets to store the electronic components are formed in its longitudinal direction at a predetermined spacing.
