PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reach type forklift capable of facilitating replacement of a tag and normally and surely detecting the tag during an operation, if an operator wears a wristband attached with the tag in his left hand. SOLUTION: This forklift is provided with a steering wheel for steering a vehicle main body, an antenna provided on a lower side of the steering wheel, and a control microcomputer provided in the vehicle main body to exchange a high frequency signal with the tag via the antenna. The control part for detecting the high frequency signal transmitted by the tag turns ON a relay circuit of an OFF state. The control part which does not detect the high frequency signal for a fixed time turns OFF the relay circuit of an ON state. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
