PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a fluid dynamic bearing at low costs in the fluid dynamic bearing which supports a rotary member by a hydrodynamic action of a fluid generated in a bearing gap in a non-contact state. SOLUTION: A shaft member 2 having a shaft part 2a and flange part 2b integrally formed on a lower end of the shaft part 2a is made of a porous body of sintered metal. A radial bearing surface A including a plurality of hydrodynamic grooves Ab arranged in a herringbone shape and a partition part Aa for forming respective partitioned hydrodynamic grooves Ab is printed and formed with an ink-jet method prepared by resin composite ink on an outer peripheral surface 2a1 of the shaft part 2a as a radial hydrodynamic pressure generating part.
