The choke has a core, middle shank or bar or a section (11) in which a coil (3) is arranged. It exhibits outside shank or bar or section (12,13) which is arranged on both sides of middle shank or bar or section. Gaps are present at the middle shank or bar or section and also at outside shank or bar or section. In the gaps, vibration insulators or insulating bodies (5a,5b) are arranged. The insulating bodies press the coil together in order to suppress the noise produced at the coil and coil side sections (12',13') of the core.
