The invention relates to a pouch (10) intended for use in a device for preparing an extract with a foam layer, which pouch is configured as an envelope of a water-permeable filter material comprising a circumferential edge, which can be filled with a particular amount of a product to be extracted into the extract to be prepared by means of hot water under pressure, wherein the pouch is provided with at least one filling opening (15) for filling the envelope with a particular amount of a product to be extracted prior to the use of the pouch.
