CONTROL DEVICE OF VIBRATING ACTUATOR AND CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device that can suppress the generation of noise at the driving of a vibrating actuator.

SOLUTION: The control device of the vibrating actuator relatively drives a vibrating body (4) that excites vibration by applying a drive signal to an electromechanical energy conversion element (2), and a contact body (6) that contacts with the vibrating body. The control device comprises a control means (20) that controls the drive signal so that the amplitude of the vibration of the vibrating body is decreased at a prescribed change rate when deceleration-driving the vibration type actuator.
