<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic security device which is more effective than a conventional security device, and which can be manufactured by a manufacturing method having compatibility with a standard manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The security device is designed to store secret information such that access to the information by an external search means is prevented, and it is a type having an integrated circuit provided with a memory area receiving the information, and a protection means covering at least the memory area and fastened to the memory area to form protection against searching. It is characterized by that the protection means has at least a second integrated circuit 2, a means for destroying the secret information if connection between both integrated circuits and interactive connection means 9 and 9' between the two integrated circuits is interrupted or disrupted, and an authenticating means for authenticating at least the second integrated circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
