PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biodegradable sheet object, which has a high barrier effect to steam, gas, or the like, excellent heat seal performance, and is free from environmental problems. SOLUTION: The biodegradable sheet object, which is a biodegradable laminate sheet object, has a biaxially oriented sheet object A mainly comprising a polylactic acid polymer on one surface side, and a biaxially oriented sheet object B comprising mainly of a polylactic acid polymer on the other surface side, of an aluminum layer; wherein the biaxially oriented sheet objects A and B are not identical. The difference in fusion point is 10°C or more between the biaxially oriented sheet objects A and B, both comprising mainly of the polylactic acid polymer; and corona treatment is applied on at least one of the surface sides of the biaxially oriented sheet objects A and B facing the aluminum layer.
