PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC generator for a vehicle that can be improved in assembling performance to an output terminal of a bush. SOLUTION: The problem can be solved such that a holding member 14 having an electrical insulation property is integrally formed on the external peripheral surface of the bush 12 clamped by a clamping force of a nut 11 that is transmitted via a vehicle-side output terminal 13a; an engagement (flange 14b and penetration hole 14c) with a protrusion 3a of an end bracket 3 is formed at the holding member 14; and the bush 12 is assembled to an generator-side output terminal 10, by making the engagement part of the holding member 14 engage with the protrusion 3a of the end bracket 3.
