PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of simply manufacturing an organic EL display panel which has a large numerical aperture of an " effective aperture part "and does not have deterioration of contrast ratio occurring at the time of incidence of the external light. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the organic EL display panel comprises a process for preparing a transparent substrate, a process of forming a black matrix on the transparent substrate, a process of forming a plurality of kinds of color conversion filter layers in the gaps of the black matrix, a process of forming a transparent electrode consisting of a plurality of portions on the plurality of kinds of color conversion filter layers, a process in which the positive type photoresist is exposed from the transparent substrate side, an unexposed portion is formed at a position corresponding to the black matrix, and an exposed portion is formed at a position corresponding to the plurality of kinds of color conversion filter layers, a process of removing the exposed portions, a process of forming an organic EL layer on the transparent electrode, and a process of forming a reflecting electrode on the organic EL layer.
