PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin high in adhesive force to various bases including nonpolar ones like a polyolefin resin, particularly slight in adhesive force decline and discoloration under outdoor exposure, and to provide an aqueous dispersion and an adhesive each using the same. SOLUTION: The polyester resin is a copolyester resin composed of each a total of 100 mol% of dicarboxylic acid component and glycol component, wherein isophthalic acid component accounts for 30 mol% or greater of the total dicarboxylic acid component and triethylene glycol component accounts for 20 mol% or greater of the total glycol component.
