PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and effective dosage form for delivering a combination of a 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A reductase (HMG-CoA reductase) inhibitor with a cholesteryl ester transport protein inhibitor. SOLUTION: The dosage form comprises a cholesteryl ester transport protein inhibitor in a form improving solubility and an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor and provides immediate release of the HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor and control release and immediate release of the cholesteryl ester transport protein inhibitor.
