PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera built-in type rearview mirror capable of maintaining high visibility by clearness of a photographed image at least in a range of a lower part of a vehicle and near a front wheel over a long period of time. SOLUTION: In the camera built-in type rearview mirror, a lens part 23 of a camera body 20 built-in in a mirror housing 2 is made facing to a peep window 8 and the peep window 8 is closed by a transparent cover 10. A light-shielding member 12 is arranged at a periphery of the lens part 23 of the camera body 20 and a closed space S is surroundedly formed at the periphery of the lens part 23 of the camera body 20 by the transparent cover 10 and the light-shielding member 12.
