A composite material (1) for a folding vehicle roof of a cabriolet vehicle is disclosed, whereby, with a closed vehicle roof, a lower layer (2), facing the vehicle interior, is at least partly embodied as a woven textile layer, connected, on the side thereof facing away from the vehicle interior, in the closed state by means of an intermediate layer (4), to an external leather layer (3). On production of the composite material (1) the same is subjected to an energy input for connection of the lower layer (2) to the leather layer (3) sufficient that the intermediate layer (4) undergoes an at least partial fusion. |
