PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently processing an interruption in a multiprocessor system. SOLUTION: In this method, one of a plurality of processors (for example, SPU 108a-108d) processes an interruption in a multiprocessor system (for example, PE 100), and the responsibility of identifying a processor for performing the next interruption is assigned thereto. When one processor switches tasks and determines that it is not a processor with the lowest importance in respect to task priority, this processor selects the responsibility related to interruption (or, to process the interruption and determine the processor to process the next interruption), and transfers the responsibility to a processor which executes a task with the lowest importance.
