PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation part of an endoscope allowing easy attaching and detaching of piston bodies to be detached from an operation valve and an operation-part retaining auxiliary device to the operation part without dropping them. SOLUTION: A piston body attachment member 52 and the operation-part retaining auxiliary device 50 attached to the operation part 1 are integrally formed for regulating the pull-out of piston bodies 12 and 22 from cylinder bodies 11 and 21, the piston body attachment member 52 is detached from the operation part 1, and the piston bodies 12 and 22 are pulled out of the cylinder bodies 11 and 21 to detach the operation-part retaining auxiliary device 52 integrally therewith from the operation part 1.
