PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel winding auxiliary apparatus for fishline having a simple structure, capable of carrying out winding off from an arbitrary and commercially available spool and winding to a reel and capable of simultaneously carrying out winding and unwinding operation to the reel at a high speed. SOLUTION: The reel winding auxiliary apparatus for fishline is attached to a position separated from a fishing reel of a fishing rod to which the fishing reel is attached. The reel winding auxiliary apparatus is equipped with a body connected and fixed to the rod body and a supporting part for detachably and rotatably attaching and supporting a spool in which fishline is wound around the body. The supporting part has a shaft rotation-retaining mechanism for supporting the spool on the body so as to retain adequate shaft rotation in accordance with the difference of size of the spool. A backlash-preventing mechanism used when winding the fishing reel and a handle for unwinding the fishing reel are provided in the auxiliary apparatus.
