PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wax or a mixture of waxes comprising mono ester of fatty acid composed of a fatty acid with a desired carbon atoms and an alcohol. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the method for producing the wax or the mixture of waxes comprising culture of Aeromonas hydrophila TN-006 strain in the presence of fats selected from a group comprising triglycerids, diglycerids and monoglycerids of fatty acids, free fatty acids and ester of free fatty acids and those mixtures with two more carbon atoms than desired fatty acids.
