摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a sense of incongruity given to an occupant by establishing gear shifting speed at a time of target driving force change appropriately. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle is provided with a differential mechanism of two degree of freedom arranged on a collinear figure and including at least a first to a fourth rotary element, an engine 2 connected to the first to the fourth rotary element respectively, an output gear 12 outputting driving force to a drive wheel, a first motor 3 and a second motor 4. Gear ratio which is a ratio of rotation speed of the engine 2 and rotation speed of the output gear 12 can be changed without steps by controlling rotation speed of at least one of the engine 2, the first motor 3, and the second motor 4. A controller 20 judges change of target driving force and establishes an upper limit value of gear shift speed at a time of gear shift with receiving change of the target driving force to a value different from an upper limit value of gear shift speed at a time of gear shift under constant driving force condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
