PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control program writing method for an air conditioner for reinforcing safety and security by recognizing a terminal unit for writing into a memory and limiting intentional writing. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is provided with the memory 2, a determining means 3 for determining writing into the memory 2, and a setting means for setting distinguishing number for determination, and the determining means 3 enables writing into the memory 2 for the first time after distinguishing number from the terminal unit coincides with the number set by the setting means.
