PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that degradation of an image, which is caused by noise, is increased by performing shading correction even in the case of a long exposure time or a high ISO sensitivity. SOLUTION: A detection circuit 4 for detecting a shutter speed and an ISO sensitivity in photographing inputs a detection result to a shading correction selecting circuit 5. The shading correction selecting circuit 5 selects execution/non-execution of shading correction in response to input of the detection result. Shading correction processing is performed in a shading correction circuit 8 when execution is selected, and an image is sent to the next processing circuit without executing shading correction when non-execution is selected.
