PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set classification information on images without operating a key for each image. SOLUTION: At S1, image classification information received from an operation section 113 of a camera 10 is set. At S2, image data are recorded as an Exif image file onto a recording medium 116. In this case, the image classification information set at S1 is recorded to a designated tag (Imagedescription tag etc.) provided in a header part of the Exif image file. A storefront printing device 170 reads the Exif file from the recording medium 116 and displays the image read from the recording medium 116 on a display device 180, and a CPU 172 classifies the image according to the image classification information recorded in the Exif file and displays it.
