PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for economically producing a vulcanized solid rubber article from an ethylene/α-olefin/nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber in a compositional region where the softness and compression set resistance as a rubber are excellent. SOLUTION: The method for producing a vulcanized solid rubber article from an ethylene/α-olefin/nonconjugated copolymer rubber comprises the step of kneading the following compounding materials: (A) nonsticking pellets obtained by cutting a coated product prepared by coating with a thermoplastic resin an ethylene/α-olefin/nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber having an ethylene content of 40 to 70 wt.% and a nonconjugated diene content of 2 to 20 wt.% and having an ML viscosity (ML<SB>1+4</SB>, 125°C) of 30 to 250 as measured at 125°C, (B) a reinforcement, and (C) a softener.
