PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator capable of reducing pressure loss, improved in gas-liquid separation performance, and being easily manufactured. SOLUTION: This accumulator 65 is mounted at a suction side of a compressor 10 in a refrigerating cycle, to separate a refrigerant into gas and liquid by centrifugal force, to store the refrigerant of liquid phase inside, and return the refrigerant of gas phase to the compressor. This accumulator has a cylindrical hole portion 42 as a separating portion 42 for revolving the refrigerant and separating it into gas and liquid by centrifugal force, and an introducing portion 44 for introducing the refrigerant formed around the separating portion to the separating portion, and an opening portion opened to the cylindrical hole portion 42 of the introducing portion 44 has the longitudinal shape long in the direction of pivot shaft.
