PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely take out sheet-like articles 2 by a simple constitution, and to eliminate the necessity of a fine adjustment, etc. when changing the articles 2 to be handled. SOLUTION: A supply conveyor 4 holds the plurality of sheet-like articles 2 in stood states between front and rear supporting members 12 and carries the articles 2. A delivery conveyor 6 is arranged in continuous to a downstream side of the supply conveyor 4, and travels in the same direction as that of the supply conveyor 4 at higher speed than that of the supply conveyor 4. The supporting member 12 on the front side of the sheet-like articles 2 is lowered on a front side of the delivery conveyor 6 to save from a carrying surface. The sheet-like articles 2 are inclined backward while being changed from the supply conveyor 4 to the delivery conveyor 6 and being carried, and the front surfaces become states directed upward. A take-out means 8 is arranged at a downstream end of the delivery conveyor 6 to take out the sheet-like articles 2 one by one by suction from the above by a suction cup 8a.
