PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure capable of opening a door even when the deformation is caused by a head-on collision of a vehicle without considerably increasing the rigidity of a door panel. SOLUTION: The displacement gap during the impact between a front end 36C of a lock part 36B of a door lock striker 36 fixed to a front wall part 30B of a center pillar 30 below a vehicle body of the door belt line and a front end 40A of a striker insertion opening 40 forward of the vehicle body is larger than that between the front wall part 30B of the center pillar 30 and a rear wall part 15B of a door inner panel 15 of a front side door 12 backward of the vehicle body of the door belt line BL with an in-door reinforcing member 14 arranged therein.
