An anti-fuse circuit comprises a fuse element (210) with two transition regions (211,212), a gate electrode (213) and a field control unit (220) directed to give an anti-fuse procedure by separately controlling the electric fields (Ef1,Ef2) separately applied between the gate and the two respective transition regions. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) Further anti-fuse circuits as above;and (B) A production process for the above circuits.
