A sloped building roof has one or more hooks permanently installed on the roof tiles or other structure. The hook has an elongated shank (12) with screw holes and terminates at the base in a raised shank with hook (14). The transition between the hook and main shank incorporates an aperture (15). The one-piece metal hook is fabricated by stamping from sheet metal.
