<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating connector that can be reduced in cost by remarkably shortening the required length of a flat cable. <P>SOLUTION: In the rotating connector, a rotor 2 having an inner cylinder 7b and a ceiling plate 7a is rotatably connected to a stator 1 having an outer cylinder 5a and a bottom plate 6a; the flat cable 3 is accommodated in an annular space 9 defined between the stator 1 and the rotor 2 in an inverted state; and the inverted part 3a of the flat cable 3 is passed through an opening 14 of a holder 4 rotatably arranged in the annular space 9. A guide wall 4b having an external face eccentric to the rotation center of the rotor 2 is erected on an annular flat plate 4a of the holder 4, a window 15 is arranged through which the inside of the annular space 9 can be viewed at the ceiling plated 7a of the rotor 2, and the opening 14 of the holder 4 is made to face the window 15 at a rotation neutral position of the rotor 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
