<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document image reader/recorder, where reference to data on an external storage medium and removal of the external storage medium at editing are not required. <P>SOLUTION: The document image reader/recorder comprises a means for receiving a read instruction or a write instruction from a PC (external device) 16, a means for reading out data on a removable memory card (external storage medium) 17, when the read instruction is received by the instruction receiving means, a means for transmitting the data, read out by the reading means, to the PC 16, a means for receiving the data from the PC 16, when the write instruction is received by the instruction receiving means, and a means for writing the data received by the data receiving means to the memory card 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
