<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small size and lightweight pretensioner capable of reducing a generator storage section. <P>SOLUTION: The pretensioner is provided with a winding shaft engaged with one end of a webbing belt; a cylinder body for internally storing a piston for rotating the winding shaft in a direction winding the webbing belt by movement to one axial end side, being thicker at a bottom part side such that the thickness at an opening end side of the one axial end side is made thinner than the bottom part side at the other axial end side and pushing out the piston to one axial end side by rising of an internal pressure; a cylindrical generator storage part having one end opened between the bottom part of the cylinder body and the piston and integrally formed on the cylinder body; and a gas generator stored in the generator storage part, generating a gas under a predetermined condition and feeding the gas to the cylinder body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
