<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed and inexpensive sheet separating/feeding machine alternately feeding sheets of different size from both sides of one common sheet stack. <P>SOLUTION: The print media sheets are independently and alternately fed in turn in opposite directions from both sides of the same stack 18 by first and second sheet feeding machines 21, 22. At least either one 21 of the first and second sheet feeding machines can be relocated in a direction of the other sheet feeding machine and a direction separating from that, corresponding to feeding of the stack with different size of the print media sheets with different size from the same sheet stacking tray.
