PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system and the like capable of executing efficiently image processing at a low cost, when using projection distance information. SOLUTION: This projector includes a sensing part 180 for sensing at least one portion of a projection image projected onto a screen to generate brightness information indicating a brightness value in a sensing area; an angle drawing-out part 170 for generating sensing angle information indicating a sensing angle when a peak value of the brightness value is sensed, based on the brightness information; a distance drawing-out part 160 for generating the projection distance information indicating a projection distance from a prescribed position in a projection part 190 for projecting the projection image to a prescribed position within the screen 10; and a correction part 120 for regulating a focal point of a focus part 198.
