In the resonator exciting method for resonating the resonator A by a loop antenna 11 with a diameter of 0.6 m or smaller, the resonance frequency (f) and no-load Q value Qu of the resonator A are measured by exciting and detecting the resonator A by the loop antenna 11 and the electromagnetic physical property value of the dielectric substrate 2 and/or the resonant conductor 1 are calculated, on the basis of the measured values of the resonance frequency (f) and the no-load Q value Qu.
